I have been trading as The FAIR Trade Store in Southport since February 2009.
However, about 4 years ago I was forced to move from my original unit to make way for a new development.

About 30 small & micro businesses were affected, as the landlord of Birkdale Trading Estate sold the land to Aldi – the German-owned supermarket operator.

This news rang alarm bells and I quickly began proactively looking for a new warehouse unit in the Southport area.
With the help of a local agent, I signed a contract with a new landlord and moved stock and equipment over to the new unit last summer.
Bigger, smarter and lighter, the unit has proved to be a great success and I have welcomed many visitors over the last 12 months.

To mark this re-location, I will be holding an “Open Day”.

We will be celebrating the anniversary since re-locating to the “new” unit.

Everybody is welcome and entry, of course, will be FREE!
There`s no need to book, just drop by when you like between 10am and 4 pm on the day.

There`s free parking on site and ground-level entry to the unit is wheelchair-friendly.

Come and say “hello” to me, Paul, the owner of The FAIR Trade Store.
Enjoy complimentary Fairtrade tea and coffee, a glass of Fairtrade red or white wine, or maybe just a soft drink.

It will be the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about what Fair Trade really means to producers in some of the world`s poorest communities.
Browse hundreds of unique, handmade gifts.
It`s your chance to purchase something special.
