Just a quick “heads up”. Did you know that by getting your business listed with Google My Business and Google Maps, you are offered the chance to create a free Google Website?

To quote Google ……

“Google My Business is a free and easy-to-use tool for businesses and organisations to manage their online presence across Google, including Search and Maps. To help customers find your business and to tell them your story, you can verify your business and edit your business information.”

I have created a free Google website for The FAIR Trade Store and the results look good. You can see it here…. https://the-fair-trade-store.business.site

Searching listings on Google My Business is fast-becoming the way potential customers and visitors find you locally, particularly on mobile and these websites are, of course, fully responsive to desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

So, if you own or manage a small business, make sure you claim your listing and once approved by Google, you can start adding your address and contact details, business hours, ameneties etc. And don`t forget to keep your listing current by adding regular photos of your business, updates, posts, products, questions and answers, events etc

If you have any further questions, check out the Google My Business Help and Support Page.

I hope you found this update helpful. Good luck with getting your business found in Search – Paul
