Did you know?
The hamsa (meaning “five”) is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and commonly used in jewellery and wall hangings.
It depicts the open right hand – an image recognised and used as a sign of protection in many societies throughout history.
The hamsa is believed to provide defense against the “evil eye”!
Also note: we take care to ensure that pictures and descriptions are as accurate and representative as possible, but please be aware that our products are handmade in the developing world (often using locally-sourced and/or recycled materials) and minor variations may occur – making each item truly unique!
