After much searching, we have managed to source this very special small Fair Trade Tibetan singing bowl in a blue colour with gold ethnic patterns.

•   Singing bowls are a type of bell.  Strike it and be amazed!

•   The mallet supplied is made from hardwood and the bowl itself from an alloy of multiple metals which give the distinctive “singing” sounds.

•   This particular design is in a medium blue colour, with a gold hand-painted design inside, outside, on the base and around the top lip of the rim.

•   They are very easy to play – just create a friction between the wooden mallet and the rim of the bowl to produce a harmonious ‘singing’ sound.
Alternatively, strike the singing bowl with the mallet and cause the rim and sides to vibrate, which creates a beautiful, bell-like tone.

Handmade with great skill and care by Fair Trade Tibetan artisans living in New Delhi, India.
